I love “la peste”. I read it at school and I have read it twice after, and each time I have discovered something new…I love the way Camus explore subjects such as religion, sociology, morality in a very engaging narrative. I think Camus was inspired by the german ocupation in France, but the subject is so universal. It inevitably makes me think about the military goverment in Chile and how poeple faced the violence and repression. Totally awsome book!
